This has been a long-time issue, and someone from Reddit recently brought it up and it’s good enough to share here. Have you ever tried to cancel a print job in Windows, just to have it sit there forever and partially print anyway? What a pain! The best way to immediately cancel a print job without waiting is to stop/restart the spooler service. You can do this several ways:

We’ve all been there, right?  We delete a file, empty the recycle bin – and then realize we really shouldn’t have done that.  What to do?  Well, to start with, immediately stop using your PC, do not copy or move any files, and most importantly don’t run a defrag or format the hard drive :)

If you’re not using Firefox and AdBlock Plus, you can still block a good number of ads from showing in your web browser. Not only that, but you can use a hosts file to prevent your software from “phoning home” as well.  I personally use a combination of Firefox, AdBlock Plus, a custom hosts file, a firewall, and PeerBlock to lock down my PC. Between all these, I feel pretty secure :)

By default, if you try to search within PHP files using Windows XP, you won’t have much luck. It just won’t look inside them. There’s an easy way to fix this to effectively make XP search inside all files, regardless of extension.
