Firefox is the world’s best web browser. Part of what makes it so great is the ability to completely customize it with plugins and extensions, as well as themes. I’ve put together a quick list of my top 5 most useful extensions. The authors definitely deserve some recognition, as they are providing these invaluable tools free of charge, often only asking for a small donation in return. Be sure to support their efforts by donating a few dollars or linking back to them.

By default, if you try to search within PHP files using Windows XP, you won’t have much luck. It just won’t look inside them. There’s an easy way to fix this to effectively make XP search inside all files, regardless of extension.

This little trick is not only useful, but it can also save you money.  Pandora.com lets you listen to music and it will play the songs you like, learning from your likes and dislikes.  I find it pretty ingenious, but the constant registration pop-ups are both annoying and frustrating.
